“Hopefully one day I can play for Valencia CF”
The individual award winners of the VCF Academy World Cup reflect on the tournament and share their hopes for the future.
In their quest to provide more resources to members of their coaching staff, the VCF Academy have this season reached agreements with platforms such as BCoach and the Football Science Institute.
Now, in addition, the Methodology and People Development departments have launched a program consisting of online workshops, running through to May, in which the different areas of coaching are developed: Talent management, performance analysis, fitness preparation, goalkeeping, nutrition, and individual and collective development. Teaching resources and strategies will be shown so that coaching groups can apply them with their respective teams in training on the pitch.
The first of the online workshops took place this Wednesday, in which the Talent Management Department -led by David Fuster together with Javi Venta and Jorge Manteca- showed how they undertake their work with teams ranging from Juvenil to professional level (Stage 3 ), and how this way of working can be extrapolated to 8-a-side teams and 11-a-side football for younger players. They provided pedagogical and didactic resources for the coaches to be able to apply them in practice.
